Clients retain either Lynn Hamilton or Wendy Mokler as their educational consultant as both Lynn and Wendy maintain their own separate offices. They consult with each other daily in order to provide expert counsel to their individual clients.

Lynn Hamilton brings 25 years of experience as teacher and advisor to the profession of educational consulting. Lynn established her practice in 1982 and worked in New York and Connecticut prior to relocating to California in 1985. She has placed more than 2000 students in schools, colleges and special needs programs in every region of the U.S. as well as Europe, Australia and Asia. Lynn's experience and reputation are nationally recognized, and she travels extensively throughout the United States and internationally visiting schools, programs and universities to evaluate their environments and curriculums. Lynn also provides college counseling to several public and independent schools.

Wendy Mokler has been a professional educator for more than 30 years. Her vast experience comes from having worked as a high school counselor, a classroom teacher, a home hospital teacher, and an administrator of two special education programs for the Santa Barbara School District. She has an excellent knowledge of secondary curriculum as well as college and university entrance requirements having helped countless students of all ethnicities and economic backgrounds prepare for and get accepted to college.

Alisa has a strong background in education. She worked teaching English in Australia for four years at the Sunshine Coast English College where she taught the Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English. Prior to that, she taught English in New Zealand. At Hamilton & Associates, Alisa offers support and guidance to the college admissions process and conducts research and alternative options for students post high school (i.e. gap year opportunities). In addition, she is working to develop a database for international colleges and exchange programs. Alisa enjoys assisting in the development and editing of college essays. This past year she was hired as an Admissions Reader for the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has found the process rewarding and insightful.
